As someone who has (had) worn glasses/contacts for over 30 years, my vision was continuing to decline. After an appointment with my optometrist, I was referred to Eye Center South. From the moment my appointment was scheduled, the process of restoring my vision was seamless. The entire staff from the employees at the front desk, employees in screening, employees in imaging, Ignacio in research, to Dr. Sebastian Heersink were ALL absolutely amazing. It was determined that I needed an Intraocular Lens Exchange. Scary word, however, through out the entire process I was well taken care of and reassured all would be fine. To say the results have been amazing is an understatement! I now have 20/20 vision and will no loner be dependent on glasses/contacts. Dothan is blessed to have Eye Center South, all of the caring-knowledgeable staff members, and skilled doctors.
My Mom had Cataract surgery with Dr.Bennett his love and compassion is amazing! He prays with his patients and takes his time to be thoroughly accurate with all testing! All the staff from switchboard, front desk, screening, special testing and the surgery center were amazing and helpful! We love this place.
I was recently seen at Eye Center South for treatment of a minor eye injury as well as a routine eye exam to monitor symptoms of a condition that runs in my family. From the initial reception and intake through Dr. Sebastian Heersink's exam and discussion of test results, the staff was professional, efficient, and courteous. The facility is clean, attractive, and comfortable; waiting times between tests were minimal. The diagnostic equipment used for my exam was very sophisticated, and I am reassured to know that my case will be watched carefully. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my visit.

Dr. Sebastian Heersink and all the staff at Eye Center South were great! I was referred by my optometrist when I asked for the best LASIK available, and that's exactly what I got. Through scheduling, Pre-op testing, surgery, and follow-up, the entire experience couldn't have been better. The worst part was just waiting until surgery day. Travis was awesome and kept it fun and relaxed through all the testing. Scarlet did my pre-op/post-op and was amazing! She worked her tail off to take great care of us and keep everything in order.
I am so thankful in how God used you to provide a miracle for me! After wearing a high prescription for some 68 years it's amazing to be able to only need occasional reading glasses.
