This review is long overdue. I went to visionworks last year to get my lenses because they were able to cut the lenses the same day and i was going out of town and needed then right away. I paid over 200 I think it was 230 for the lenses. About 2 days later while cleaning my glasses with my microfiber cloth, i notices a streak in one of my lenses. I thought maybe I needed to clean them again but nothing worked. I just ignored it until it was more streaks and more noticeable. It looked like the film on the lense was peeling off. I was surprise and confused as I have worn glasses for more than 15yrs and never seen this before. Finally I called the store and was told that i has waited more than 30 days and didn't purchase insurance on the lenses which I was never offered but the lady was nice enough to offer it to me at that time so i had to pay another 40 for insurance and then they would replace the lenses 1 time. So I went to purchase the insurances and have my lenses replaced. When I showed the glasses to the staff, they couldn't explain it. By this time, upon arrival I learned that they no longer do the lenses on site and would have to ship my glasses to CA and it would be 2 weeks.... No one mentioned that before. Anyway, it took longer than the time quoted. After a couple days finally i called to find out what was up and was told it would be a few more days. Long story short after a 2 weeks, they were back to the streaked look but i never went back because the lady told me I could only use it one time. What made me post my review today is seeing how much worse it continues to get. $300 completely wasted. I would never go back or recommend.
