The rooms are a bit outdated but reasonably comfortable, pet friendly and fairly inexpensive so it works well if budget is an issue. What really makes this place stand out is the complimentary breakfast which is one of the best hotel breakfasts out there. It is a small buffet with several hot items including eggs, sausage, gravy, bacon along with breads, pastries, pancakes, cereals, yogurt, etc. There are a few juice choices and it actually tasted like juice and not glorified koolaid. If you like a good breakfast included in the cost of your room, this is a place to consider.
I reserved a king suite, but when I got to my room the air conditioner in the bedroom didn't work and it was hot. So I requested another room. They didn't have any more King suites so they put me in a king size room. It didn't have a refrigerator and I had things that needed to be chilled. I went looking for ice and none of the ice machines worked. When I went to the front desk the girl said did you try the ice machines. She finally went and got me ice from the kitchen.
The Inn and Suites wasn't so sweet. More of a motel than a hotel. The rooms were decent and very outdated. They had that 80s and 90s motel look. Pictures on the web are deceitful. Don't expect to check in earlier than 3:00. Breakfast was good but not good enough to pay for another stay. This was my first and last stay. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites when in town but wanted a location closer to the festival this year. Should've went with my usual. This place needs a complete remodel or rebuild.
Needs major updating. Room not clean, spider infestation , and housekeeping seriously lacking. Breakfast was great and staff do the best they can with what they have to work with. Jake's Bar and Grill is always friendly and fun.
The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was lovely and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers were great. Overall it was a very good experience.
