Excellent service and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Older hotel, rather worn but clean. Our first room had not been cleaned so we were upgraded to a suite for our trouble. That was unexpected and appreciated. The room was very large with a King bed, sofa and table. However, there was no fridge, no microwave and no fan in the bathroom. There was certainly plenty of room for the appliances. The only way to keep the mirror from fogging during a shower was to keep the bathroom door open. There was a coffee maker, Keurig, in the room. The free breakfast was just OK although the variety of food was good. All of the staff that we met were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel definitely needs to be updated and spruced up. The staff was more than adequate.
After reading the reviews, I was not expecting a very good experience. I'm happy I didn't listen. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because this Holiday Inn Express has not been renovated yet. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff have been very helpful and nice. Having been to other hotels in the area, this is definitely worth the price. I will say that, as a Spire Elite, we have seen many, many IHG hotels. This one, as I mentioned, has not been renovated, so it does have the older hotel smell. On the other hand, it is non-smoking, so there is no stale cigarette smell. If you're looking for a 5 star, new hotel, you might want to pass. If you just want a nice, comfortable room, nice staff, great breakfast, and the amenities of a decent hotel, you won't be disappointed.
The staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and had a variety to choose from. We stayed on 3rd floor. The carpet was worm and torn in some spots. Entry way and lobby was very nice. The rooms and hallways however needed serious updates and repairs.
